B&B in a Grade II Georgian house right in the town centre, a short stroll from restaurants, the castle, brewery and market. We have taken care of the details so you can enjoy every moment of your stay.

A warm welcome awaits you at Hen & Chickens in the centre of Ludlow.  Our B&B is set within a Grade II Georgian building and an adjoining cottage, We have taken care with the details so you can enjoy every moment of your stay, starting the moment you arrive with free parking in our gated car park (or a short walk from Ludlow station).

Once unpacked, you’ll have a short stroll to many lovely restaurants, the castle, brewery and market place as well as a great array of walks from the front door. We provide WIFI throughout and you’ll enjoy an excellent breakfast with locally sourced produce including fabulous Ludlow sausages.

I stayed at the Hen and Chickens in Ludlow for two nights and had a wonderful, comfortable
stay. The B and B is beautifully furnished and Katy made me very welcome. Nothing was too
much trouble and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely be back, thank you.

Each of our 5 guest rooms has a luxurious superkingsize bed or 2 twin beds and ensuite. All have high quality bedding and are comfortable and tastefully decorated with thoughtful touches to ensure a relaxing stay.

We also have a suite with its its own attached kitchen/diner so if you can’t decide between a self catering apartment or B&B we have the perfect solution, self-catering with complimentary breakfast in the B&B to start the day. Surely, the best of both worlds?

Ludlow is charming, full of interesting and beautiful architecture and the Hen & Chickens is no exception. The main house was formerly a coaching inn built in 1820 and has a rich history. We look forward to sharing some of our favourite places to eat, see and walk when you stay with us.
