Charlie's Cottage | Staying
A quintessential English cottage. Two bedrooms, oodles of period charm and a good sprinkling of modern luxury.
Charlie’s Cottage is a charming, 17th century terraced cottage, nestled in a quiet street close to the start of town. It has been sympathetically restored to maintain it's abundance of wonderful historical character, with original exposed beams and a quirky staircase, it is a true slice of Shropshire history.
Awarded 4* self-catering accommodation by Shropshire Tourism, Charlie’s Cottage sleeps up to 3 guests in 2 bedrooms - one king sized bed (5ft wide, with king sized pillows) and one single bed. Both beds have sprung mattresses and 100% cotton bedding and feather and down pillows and duvets for ultimate comfort and luxury.
The front door leads into the cosy, attractive, sitting room with exposed beams and a lovely cushioned window seat – a perfect spot to sit and read the paper or watch the world go by.
The cottage is packed with high-end amenities, from gadgets in the kitchen to the Smart TV’s in the lounge and both bedrooms, plus free Wi-Fi and USB charger sockets fitted in every room (ex. the bathroom). The kitchen is fitted to a high standard, with an integrated dishwasher, a microwave, Smeg fridge, small freezer, digital radio and Nespresso coffee machine.

There is a pretty, enclosed, courtyard garden with garden lighting, and bistro table and chairs for your alfresco meals and drinks.
